MOTHERS DAY 2014

I had such a great Mothers Day! My little munchkins definitely made me feel loved. I was able to sleep in a bit while they made me a hot breakfast. They slaved over scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. It was delicious. I also received my goodies. The kids got me a nail salon gift card and Ricky knew I wanted new athletic shoes and clothes so I received a visa gift card. The kids gave me some fun stuff they made at Midweek. Which of course was the best gift of all.  After breakfast we went to church. After we got home Vincent took a nap and we all relaxed. After he woke up, we headed to one of my favorite places. The Waterway in the Woodlands. We ate at Grimaldis pizza. Their pizza is super yummy. Plus, it's a perfect spot. We are able to sit outside by the fountains so the kids can run around. After we ate we got the kids ice cream and let them run around. Even Vincent joined in the fun and tried to get in the water.
I'm so blessed to have such an amazing family. They truly make Mothers Day special.

Vincent didn't look to interested in taking a pic =(

I just LOVE all his smiles

FIELD DAY 2014

Kohrville Elementary puts on a great field day for the kids. Last year I was pregnant and had Vincent that night. This time I had my side kick with me. The kids had a blast at field day. It's such a great day for them to not think about work and just have fun.
(I didn't have my camera for Ricky's so when a friend sends over the pics I'll update)

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY, LITTLE GUY

On May 2, a year ago, we were blessed with a sweet baby boy. I can not believe my baby is 1! It's such a hard pill to swallow.
We threw him a small birthday party. He had some of his "little" friends here and their families. We celebrated with fajitas and cupcakes. His smash cake was Elmo. He was very cautious about it. He loved the icing. The cake was never destroyed. He did put a good dent into 1 side. It was his big day and it was perfect.
I can not imagine our family with out him. He was definitely the missing puzzle piece to our family.
He loves cars and balls. He surprises all of us at how good he can throw. Once his little eyes detect a ball, nothing else matters to him, but getting to it. He has the most contagious smile. A laugh that I can listen to for hours. He loves to share and then take it back. He loves playing with Hana and Ricky, and misses them when they are at school. He has mastered crawling and is super fast. He loves cell phones and seems to be able to unlock every screen.
He is just pure perfection.

HANA TURNING 7

Seven years ago on March 19, God has blessed me with an adorable baby girl. My mind can not comprehend that she is 7 already. Just yesterday she was dressing up in princess dresses and playing kitchen. Everyday I still see this little girl in front of me, but at night when I go to check on them I realize how much she has grown. She is the most caring sensitive and funny girl, but she is the most strong willed and persistent little girl I know. One minute she's making you want to tear your hair out the next you're just in awwww how caring she is. I love her to pieces and am so thankful I have her to call me "mom".  I am so blessed to have her in my life. It would not be the same with out her and honestly it would be quiet boring.
I love you precious girl. Keep doing what you're doing and don't change for anyone. God has amazing things planned for you. You are a big deal and I love you more than words could ever explain.
Love, Mommy.

Hana decided that instead of a big gift she would like a big party. Oh boy was it big! The weather was a little sketchy so we had to cancel the bounce house. She had a ton of her friends to help her celebrate the big "7".  I was just talking to someone what happened to the days of simple parties? This is exactly what it turned out to be and it was a blast. Due to cancelling the bounce house we planned some "minute to win it" games. The kids played for a bit, but were more interested in getting back to just simple play. It was hectic and chaotic, but a great party.

Hana's last night as a 6 year old.

Ricky took it to a new level

Make a big wish, sweet girl.

Don't you just love that face!
