SUMMER 2015 FUN!!

We like to take a few little trips or do family activities during the summer. Some of the things we did was take an Austin trip. We visited Lake Travis and McKinney Falls. One day we visited Pleasure Pier in Galveston.

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY RICKY!!

Eleven years ago a little boy stole my heart and gave me the most priceless and best gift anyone could give. He made me a mom. There is no greater reward or accomplishment in life than being a mom.
I am so blessed that he has picked me to call "mommy".
He is considerate, sweet, funny, well mannered, smart and handsome. God is shaping him to be an amazing boy/man.
There are no words to express how much he means to us and the love we have for him.

He decided that he wanted to celebrate his birthday with a pool party. It was so much fun!!! He ended up getting about everything he wanted. Books, money, gift cards, Harry Potter wand.

VINCENT'S 1ST HAIRCUT

We knew the moment would come when Vince would have to get a haircut. Everyone was procrastinating because of all the gorgeous curls. No matter how crazy and untamed they looked. Our biggest fear was that they would not come back.
I made the phone call and scheduled the appointment with Lady (our neighbor and hairstylist). She did an awesome job at the cut and being fast. She knew she was on borrowed time with a 2 year old. The cut was great!! He looked like a totally different kid. I had to keep looking at him. 1. because he looked so different and 2. to double check he was my kid. My little baby was replaced by a big boy.
