Hana's teeth are just falling out. She lost another tooth Thursday, November 14. If you are looking at her it is her bottom right. This one came out a lot easier. It was wiggling for a couple days. She was eating an apple and it fell out.
The tooth fairy left $3!!!

THE END OF THE 1ST 9 WEEKS - 1ST & 3RD GRADE
Wow!! I can not believe how fast 9 weeks went by. I think I start all my posts related with my kids how I can not believe how time flies. It just does!!!
The kids had a great 1st 9 weeks.
Hana loves her teacher, Ms. McAllister. She is doing great and excelling. She received all As!! We were so over joyed. Her reading level is "E". The last level for Kinder. She is doing great. We even moved her up to Junie B Jones chapter books. Her reading is getting faster and she reads with confidence. She is adjusting well and has made great new friends.
Ricky finally realized he likes his switch teacher. He had a fear of her in the beginning and was reluctant to let his guard down. He finally did and really likes her. Yay!. I feel 3rd grade was a huge adjustment. It feels like they were just thrown to the wolves. Sink or swim kind of feel. I knew 3rd would be an adjustment, but it is a huge one. They are still babied in 2nd in 3rd that does not exist. I can not believe how much homework he has. He is doing great. All As again. We did have a close call with science an 89.6. Thankfully we made it. His reading level is super advanced. Big Ricky was told at the teachers conference that he prefers to read alone bc he is so ahead of reading. He reads about twice as fast as the other kids. So proud of my little reader. Much has not changed, he still prefers playing with girls and has made a really good friend named Brooklyn.
Skipping into the beginning of the second 9 weeks, I have to brag on Ricky. The 3rd graders were tested on spelling words who would advance into the spelling bee. Ricky made it past the 1st round. From my understanding he was 1 of 38 3rd graders. He also advanced into the 2nd round. He is 1 of 8 3rd graders that will compete in the spelling bee against the 4th and 5th graders. So proud of my guy for getting this far. Wow!!
I am so blessed that my kids are doing so great in school academically and socially.

Boy Scout Rain Gutter Regada
Every year the boy scouts have a rain gutter regada. They make their own boats and than compete as to whose boat is the fastest. The trick is you have to blow it to the finish line. Sounds easy, right? NO! You have to find the right angle to blow it at and the right speed. If you blow to hard or wrong angle your boat will tip over. If it wasn't put together right, it will tip over. Who knew there was such a science to it. Hana even competed in the sibling round. The Pagnozzi's did not do to good. They both lost. It looks like we will be practicing for next year.
Vincent
A friend of mine took this pic. I LOVE it. He is 5 3/4 months. I just can not believe he is growing so fast. I love seeing him discover new things and achieving new milestones. My favorite sound in the whole world is hearing him laugh. My heart breaks at how fast he is growing. Even though I would do anything to freeze him as an infant, I know God has huge things planned for him. I am glad I will be able to witness them.
HANA LOST 2 TEETH!!!
Hana's top tooth was wiggling for a while. She had heard that a friend of hers tied a string to her tooth and a toy and pulled her tooth out. Hana decided this might be a great idea. After many attempts we got the string to stay on her tooth, but it was a lot harder and more painful than she expected. She wasn't giving up. She kept wiggling the tooth till it was almost out and easy to pull out. That was September 26.
About a week later the second tooth was wiggling. Hana just kept messing with it till it was easy to pull out. She was determined for that tooth to come out.
The tooth fairy visited both nights with $3 for each tooth.

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth.
HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY................
Happy 44th birthday to the most incredible man I know.
Ricky always gets jipped bc his birthday is on Halloween. Before we went out trick or treating we had a birthday dinner and sang "happy birthday".
Saturday we celebrated his big day with a few of our friends.

HALLOWEEN 2013
The kids love Halloween, well so do I. It's one of the best privileges of having kids. You get a ton of candy. Now, they think it's all for them, little do they know that it's for mommy....ahahahah.
The kids were all geared up to be "Butchy and Layla" from The Teen Beach movie. We went to the costume store, but the outfits were not there. I am not even sure it is an outfit that can be bought in a bag. Of course all that went out the window. The kids were determined to come out with something. Lil Ricky picked one of my favorite characters. A minion from Despicable Me. It was a bit on the small side, but he was persistent. Hana went through a few costumes till she found the right vampire look.
The night of Halloween we went Trick or Treating with our good friends the Greens. The night flew. I think we were out almost 3 hours. A house in our neighborhood put on an awesome haunted house. It was was incredible. I am so glad the kids chickened out because it would have been a long night. It was pretty scary for the adults.
Next year Vincent will be able to participate. He is going to be so precious.

A CHILD OF GOD
Vincent became a child of God today through baptism. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran at the 9:30 service by Pastor Courdrey.
We chose Mike and Liz, to be his God Parents and we were honored when they accepted. Vincent is blessed to have such amazing people in his life that will keep him on the right path if he ever strays.
Unfortunately, Uncle Marco could not be there for the celebration because Liam was sick. Aunt Vlady surprised us by making it. Babi and Deda were able to be there to witness it. Which made it more special.
Vincent had on this beautiful white Christening gown. He looked just like a sweet little angel. Of course this was one service where he did not want to sleep. Though a little restless he did great.
We are so proud of our little guy and can not wait to see how God leads him through life and all the exciting adventures he will encounter.

VINCENT'S 1ST FOOD
A little after Vincent's 4 month birthday we introduced real food. Peas. He wasn't too thrilled. The next day I introduced sweet potatoes and carrots. He really had no interest in foods. We will wait and try again when he's a little older.

1ST DAY OF SCHOOL - 1ST AND 3RD GRADES!!
After a fun and long summer my babies were ready to start 1st and 3rd grade. I say this every year, but I can't believe how fast they are growing. =(
The day before, daddy took Hana shopping to pick out her first day of school outfit. I think they did a pretty good job. She looked very stylish.
A few days before school started we had "meet the teacher". This is where we found out who their teacher was going to be. They did not send out postcards this year, which was very hard for me.
Hana got Ms. McAllister. She made a great 1st impression and even sent Hana a postcard, how excited she is to have her in class. We also found out that the boy Hana had a small crush on last year is in her class this year and he's even at her table. She had a few other kids in her class from Kinder. I felt a lot better knowing she will have some kind of familiarity. Unlike last year she was ready to meet her teacher and walked around with such confidence. I even had her lead me to her class room so I had piece of mind she won't get emotional. She was such a pro. Wow! What a difference a year makes.
So far Hana loves school/her teacher and says she is having a lot of fun.
Hana weighs: 48.5 lbs and is 47" tall.
On the 1st day of school she walked in with out any issues and put everything up herself and went straight to her seat. She gave me a quick kiss and hug. I know I shed a little tear because she has come so far and is getting so independent.
We found out Ricky has Ms. Tiffany-Stewart as his homeroom teacher and Ms. Cook as his switch teacher. He is a little worried about Ms. Cook. It's the one teacher he was afraid of getting. I think it's because she is strict. I know Ricky will do good in any setting. Ricky is enjoying Ms. Stewart so far.
It seems like in 3rd grade the bar is raised a little higher. So far he has had a lot of homework and it just seems tougher. I know he's smart and will be able to get through it with out much problem.
Weighs: 69 lbs and is 56" tall.
