THE BIG MOVE

On March 30, 2011 my parents (the kids babi and deda) boarded an airplane for their move back to the Czech Republic. After up rooting their lives in 1984 to come to the United States, they have decided it was time for them to go back.
This was a hard day for everyone because the reality set in. It's not a 4 hour drive any more, it's not picking up the phone and calling whenever. Each time you want to call you have to count 7 hours ahead. It can't just be a spontaneous weekend visit. It's a visit that has to be in the works for months, cost $1,000s, 12 hour plane ride, 3 hour train ride and bus.
The upside is that they have a ticket back for Nov 15, 2012. I know we are all secretly hoping that they move back to the USA.
So far things are looking good. It's almost a culture shock for them. The weather in it self is something to get used to.
Here are some pictures of the day they flew back. It wasn't as emotional as I expected, especially from lil Ricky, since they have a very close bond.

Someone found a way to sneak into the picture.

EASTER 2012

He is Risen!
He is Risen indeed.
Easter is such a great holiday. It let's all of us remember that we are saved from our sins and will have eternal life. So many times this gets over looked, by the easter bunny, eggs, chocolate, candy, baskets and gifts. I make sure that even though my kids get goodies this day, they know what the day truly means and how extremely important it is.
We spent Easter in Bastrop with Ricky's family. It was a great time. Also, a very relaxing time. With a little to much eating. On Easter morning we went to church and than to lake Bastrop. We had so much fun with lots of people we love, food for miles and lots of swimming. It was a great Easter.
The only picture I was able to get with their church clothes. It will have to do.
Getting ready to go swimming. They love spending time with their cousins.
Ricky and his sister. She is awesome, love her!!

Not really sure what is going on here. I guess he is trying to be a tough guy.
              Uncle Gary and Ricky fishing.
Tyler and Ricky. They became best buds.
                     Off they go!!!

5 minutes in into the ride home. She was out!!

HANA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Hana had such a great time at her birthday party. I chose to have it at Woodlands Gymnastics Academy. She did want a gymnastics party and this placed seemed to fit in our budget. I think all the kids had fun. There was so much to do. Swinging ropes, balance beams, rings, trampoline etc.....
